Prepare your agency for the unexpected by planning today.
Prior to a disaster:
1) Register your agency with the Volunteer Center Serving Howard County (PDF). Only registered agencies will be able to access potential disaster volunteers through the volunteer center or VMC following a disaster.
2) Identify ways (PDF) your agency can utilize volunteers before and after a disaster.
3) Develop or update your agency’s disaster plan to incorporate volunteers (PDF).
4) Learn how to access disaster volunteers by attending Disaster Volunteer Mobilization Center (VMC) training (PDF) for Agencies.

Following a disaster:
AVOID delays by completing the Agency Checklist BEFORE (PDF)
1) Completing your Agency Request Form for Disaster Volunteers (PDF) and
