Using the Web & Social Media for Volunteer Engagement

by Mickey Gomez on April 30, 2010

Yesterday I  presented a workshop at the  Southeastern Directors of Volunteers in Healthcare Organizations Annual Leadership Conference in Atlanta, GA.

The topic?  Using the Web & Social Media for Volunteer Engagement.

Most of the slides are screenshots spotlighting examples of agencies using social media effectively.  For this particular audience, I tried to focus on effective practices I’ve observed in hospital and health care organizations.

Enjoy, and please feel free to leave comments below.  Thanks!

Using the Web & Social Media for Volunteer Engagement

I’d like to take a moment to thank the Southeastern Directors of Volunteers in Healthcare Organizations for inviting me to participate in their annual conference.  It was a well-organized event and the participants were extremely engaged.  It also encouraged me to actively document and acknowledge the current efforts of some excellent local nonprofits.  Thanks again!
