Michael-Anne Gomez
Michael-Anne (Mickey) Gomez began serving as Executive Director of the Volunteer Center Serving Howard County (VCSHC) in November 2001. She currently serves on the Board of the Association of Community Services (ACS) of Howard County, the Howard County Association of Volunteer Administrators (HCAVA) and Maryland Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (VOAD). Mickey chairs the National VOAD Volunteer Management Committee and serves on the Executive Committee of the Hands On Network Disaster Task Force. Mickey enjoys connecting community members of all ages with meaningful volunteer opportunities at local nonprofit and governmental agencies. Her current passion is encouraging local nonprofits to engage their audience using social media.

Pamela Simonson
Pamela Simonson has served as part-time Disaster Volunteer Coordinator for the Volunteer Center Serving Howard County since August 2003. With a background in teaching, nonprofit management and event coordination, working with the Volunteer Center and disaster volunteers offers the opportunity to work with and learn from a community that believes in service. The most rewarding part of being part of the Volunteer Center is connecting potential volunteers with direct service opportunities and introducing agencies to other agencies that can help them meet their mission.

Antoinette Eckstrom
Antoinette Eckstrom serves as the Office Administrator for the Volunteer Center Serving Howard County. She has been with the Volunteer Center since February, 2002. Her primary responsibility is to connect community volunteers, groups and businesses with non-profit agencies seeking committed volunteers throughout Howard County and nearby communities. Her greatest reward comes from knowing volunteers find a meaningful and worthwhile opportunity that brings them back time and time again.
